Service Description
The KM Clinic targeted at senior players 13+ A session designed for all senior players and coaches, a parefect way to lead into the season. An emphasis on correct technical skill, breaking down cues, common mistakes with both basic and advanced skills. We will work through progression to improve game play and tactical awareness, with additional considerations to match like intensity and problem solving. Basic skill/ concept focuses including: Basic Hockey/ Movement Skills - Ball carrying (technique, eyes up) - Passing (Wrist feed, slap, hit, tomahawk & overheads) - Elimination skills (Forehand, backhand & 3D) - Goal shooting (Forehand & backhand, rebounds deflections) - Defending (1v1/ 2v1 tackling, interception & marking) - Receiving (Open, closed & in-motion) - Leading craft (finding/ creating space, losing defender) - Fundamental movement skills - Spatial awareness - Decision making under pressure Advanced Concepts - Varying circle entry (baseline/ fat side etc.) - Defensive - Outletting IQ- understanding the build up play vs fast play - Small sided games to open the field of play - Pressing with intelligence to win ball back.
