Service Description
Welcome to the Riverland 2025 Term 4 KM Academy. At KM Coaching, we’re extremely passionate about improving hockey performance for young athletes who have the ambitions to improve. With this in mind, we have created this training opportunity to enhance everyone’s hockey performance and we are excited to get things underway soon! Academy Details: KM Coaching Hockey Academy is specifically designed for focusing on core technical & tactical skills. Athletes will receive individualised feedback from our expert coaches incorporating the current trends in world hockey. Our 2025 Academy block consists of 5 sessions which allows for continuity and time for athletes to process and apply information. Registrations due Monday 3rd Nov by 5pm To ensure this program can go ahead, it is imperative that people register, this helps planning. If there are not enough numbers committed, we will simply cancel the program due to viability. Ages This program is targeted at ages between 11 and 18. If you or your child is not in this category, and are still interested please email and we can discuss options admin@kmcoaching.com.au Purpose and Expectations The purpose of this training opportunity is for hockey players genuinely wanting to take their hockey to the next level. It is not suitable for a 'come and try' or a social outing. We will be doing comprehensive conditioning sets and be playing competitively. We are aiming for maximum development opportunities in the limited time we have, therefore challenge is essential. It's an expectation that athletes registering are prepared to work hard, embrace mistakes and be open to feedback. Where: RIVERLAND HOCKEY CENTRE (GLASSEY PARK) Head Coach: Todd Kitto Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm (Aim to arrive 15 minutes early) Cost: $100 *Session 1 13th Nov *Session 2 20th Nov *Session 3 27th Nov *Session 4 4th Dec *Session 5 11th Dec Cancelled Sessions will be made up Please note, with conditions warming, and occasionally getting stormy there is always a slight chance we will need to cancel. However, in most cases, we will endeavor to carry on, simply modifying the session to suit the conditions. For example, on hot days, we will bring water bottles and hats onto the pitch and work on penalty corners or specialty skills. If we must cancel, sessions will be made up early in 2026.
