Welcome to the Riverland 2026 Term 1 KM Academy. Head Coach Todd Kitto • FIH L3 Coach and Master Educator • HPE Teacher • SA Country Men’s Coach Ages 11 to 18 Cost $160 Take your game to the next level! • Physical Foundations- Speed, Agility, Lateral Movement, Range of Motion and Mobility. • Elimination Skills- 3D, Drags, Spins, Deception, Speed. • Passing and Shooting Skills- Tomahawks, Overheads, Hits, Slaps, Sliders, Flicks • Receiving Skills- Aerial and Bouncy balls, First touch, Mobile and Dynamic • Defending Skills- Steals, Line of Approach, Intercepting, Tight Marking. • Mental Skills- Training the way we play, Embracing and Learning through Mistakes, Goal Setting, Getting the Best out of your team mates. Purpose and Expectations The purpose of this training opportunity is for hockey players genuinely wanting to take their hockey to the next level. It is not suitable for a 'come and try' or a social outing. We will be doing comprehensive conditioning sets and be playing competitively. We are aiming for maximum development opportunities in the limited time we have, therefore challenge is essential. It's an expectation that athletes registering are prepared to work hard, embrace mistakes and be open to feedback.
